What is the IELTS Academic Test? (The International English Language Testing System)

The Turkish American Association’s IELTS Academic Preparation Course is an exam-focused program designed for participants seeking to study abroad, apply to academic, master’s or PhD programs, or obtain an internationally recognized English proficiency qualification. The course covers question types in the Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections of the IELTS Academic test, along with academic writing practice, exam strategies and mock tests. Participants’ English proficiency levels are determined through a free online placement test and an oral assessment. The course is offered online for participants across Türkiye and F2F at the Ankara Cinnah Center for those who prefer classroom-based instruction.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone with an English level of at least Intermediate (B1+) can participate in this program.

Registration Process:

Level Assessment Test: You can access the online IELTS placement test by clicking on the link: ONLINE PLACEMENT TEST 

Oral Assessment: Students who complete the IELTS placement test must make an appointment for an English oral assessment with the Academic Department specialist.

Academic Counseling: During the appointment, our Academic Department specialist will call you by phone and provide you with detailed information about all available programs and your questions that are suitable for your English level. There is a fee for the interview with the Academic Department specialist. This fee will be deducted from the course fee if you register for the course.
